FP&A Analyst | West Dublin

Our client, a large and well-established Irish organisation with a national footprint, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A. You will be the key analytics resource building the models and reporting that senior stakeholders rely on to make decisions. 

The Role

• Build, maintain and validate financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis and business cases
• Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis, KPI dashboards, commentary and board pack drafts
• Run rolling forecasts, scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Support cash flow forecasting, short-term liquidity planning and treasury activity
• Reconcile model outputs to the ledger and keep model controls, documentation and version control tight
• Automate reporting in Excel and Power BI to save time and improve accuracy
• Deliver ad hoc analysis on pricing, product and investment decisions
• Present clear, concise findings to senior stakeholders

The Person

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths or similar. ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or part-qualified) is desirable but not essential
• 5+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance or treasury
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel
• Power BI or similar BI tool experience
• Good understanding of cash management and short-term treasury processes
• Commercially minded, able to explain technical analysis to non-finance colleagues
